Refunds and cancellations
Rules for deposits, cancellations, and refunds on Think Arcbase professional engagements.
Eligibility
Fees cover professional analysis time, workshops, and deliverable preparation. Refund eligibility depends on how much work has started and whether materials unique to your engagement have already been produced.
Timeframe to request
Refund requests must be sent in writing to info@think-arcbase.click within 14 days of the charge date or within 7 days of a cancelled workshop date, whichever applies. Include the engagement name, invoice reference, and reason.
Full refunds
A full refund is available if you cancel in writing before ledger intake begins and before any kickoff workshop is held. Deposits paid solely to reserve a start week are refundable in full when cancellation arrives at least 10 business days before that week.
Partial refunds
If intake or cleansing has begun but no final briefing has been delivered, a partial refund may apply after deducting time already worked at the agreed rates, documented in the cancellation note. Once the final leadership pack has been delivered, fees for that engagement are non-refundable.
Non-refundable items
Completed briefings, delivered chart packs, completed concentration memos, and quarterly packs already issued for a given quarter are non-refundable. Third-party costs expressly approved by you in writing (for example, specialized printing for board packs) are non-refundable once incurred.
Refund process and timing
Approved refunds are processed within 14 business days of written approval. Refunds return to the original payment method when possible; otherwise a bank transfer to an account you nominate in writing.
Cancellation and rescheduling
You may reschedule a workshop once without fee when notice arrives at least 5 business days before the session. Later changes may incur a rescheduling fee reflecting analyst preparation already completed. Think Arcbase may reschedule for illness or force majeure and will offer a new date promptly.
Deposits and no-shows
Deposits secure analyst calendar time. A no-show for a confirmed workshop without notice forfeits the deposit for that session. Remaining engagement work may continue or pause by mutual written agreement.
Work already started
When ledger cleansing, chart drafting, or draft memos exist, those hours are billed or deducted from any refund calculation. You may request copies of work-in-progress already paid for.
Exceptions
If Think Arcbase cancels an engagement permanently for reasons other than client breach, unused prepaid fees are refunded in full. Statutory rights that cannot be waived under the laws of Taiwan(China) remain available.
